Andres McAlister

Director of Lab Programs, Global Health and Manufacturing Services Division, US Pharmacopeia

Andres currently serves as the Director of Lab Programs within the Global Health and Manufacturing Services division at US Pharmacopeia. He is the technical lead for donor-funded physical chemical and diagnostic laboratory strengthening activities funded by bi-lateral USAID missions, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), World Health Organization (WHO), and Global Fund to Fight Against HIV, Malaria, and TB (GF). Andres is an international development professional with 15 years’ experience in support of donor funded programs (USAID, Global Fund, CDC, DOD, PEPFAR, PMI) and his primary areas of expertise include global public health and pharmaceutical systems strengthening (HIV, TB, Malaria, RMNCH, FP).
