Verónica Arroyave is the Director of Global Community Relations and Executive Director of the Baxter International Foundation. In that capacity, she advances Baxter’s commitment as a socially responsible company supporting global philanthropic giving and community alliance building.
With the Baxter International Foundation, she works to advance the company’s mission to save and sustain lives by building global philanthropic partnerships to increase access to healthcare for the underserved, to develop the next generation of innovators who will lead the way in advancing healthcare and to create a long-lasting impact in Baxter’s communities.
Prior to joining Baxter, Veronica was the Senior Director of Global Health Programs, and former Global Health Fellow for the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations. She served as the Director of Corporate Responsibility and the AbbVie Foundation from 2014-2017. She has also advised or held positions with organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, Wyeth, MAP International, Project HOPE, Medical Teams International, USAID’s MEASURE Evaluation program and the Carilion Foundation. Veronica has a Bachelors of Science from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, a Masters from Tulane University’s School Public Health & Tropical Medicine and a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech’s School of Public and International Affairs.
