Senior Director for Corporate & Foundation Partnerships, Project Hope
In 2020, Kim joined Project HOPE as the Senior Director for Corporate & Foundation Partnerships. For more than 60 years, Project HOPE has transformed the health and well-being of people and communities around the world. They work on the front lines of the world’s health challenges, partnering hand-in-hand with communities, health care workers and public health systems to ensure sustainable change.
Prior to this, she was the President of Bloom Strategies with a professional focus on donor cultivation and stewardship in the corporate and non-profit fundraising environment. She has experience working on capital giving campaigns as well as managing celebrity-driven and cause-related fundraising initiatives. Her recent experience includes a high-profile affordable housing project led by Brad Pitt, major capital campaigns for DC landmarks including Ford’s Theatre, an international non-profit called Seed Global Health that works in partnership with the Peace Corps to train doctors and nurses, and PATH’s Malaria Vaccine Initiative rollout in Ghana, Malawi and Tanzania.
Before forming her own company, she joined the Ashmead Group as a Senior Associate and managed non-profit and political accounts. Her political work included fundraising campaigns for Senators and Members of the United States House of Representatives. She also worked for the Credit Suisse Americas Public Policy team and managed external relations and political events for C-suite executives.
Kim graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a B.A. in International Relations. She currently lives in Washington, DC.
