Martin Blaxall

Martin is Director, Corporate Reputation, Brand and Communications at AstraZeneca. He previously worked for UK gas utility, British Gas, and its successor companies, leaving energy company, National Grid, as Head of Corporate Communications. He joined management consultancy Indepen in 2004. Martin is a Chartered Company Secretary and his experience includes corporate reporting, branding and sponsorship; internal and external communications; reputation, issue and crisis management; as well as organisational and other business issues, particularly during periods of corporate transformation.

Martin is a former Chair and Trustee of Entelechy Arts, a charity based in Lewisham, south east London, that uses participatory arts to create stronger communities, particularly with isolated older people, those living with profound and multiple disabilities, and those living in care home environments.
