Kavita (pronounced Kuh-vee-tha) Sood-Isaacs is the current Board Chair of PQMD and the Associate Director of Corporate Responsibility and Global Philanthropy at Baxter International Inc. In this role, she leads the Baxter Foundation’s signature partnerships, disaster relief strategy, and manufacture-to-donate product donation program. She is also a member of Baxter’s Corporate Responsibility Council, helping to shape the company’s global corporate responsibility reporting and sustainability strategy.
Kavita previously served as PQMD’s Secretary of the Board and Chair of the Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Assistance Committee. Prior to joining Baxter, she spent years in the international nonprofit sector, forging cross-sector philanthropic partnerships. Kavita has worked with organizations including the United Nations Foundation, RefuSHE, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, she has lived and worked extensively in developing countries, bringing on-the-ground experience in international development to corporate partnerships and philanthropy.
