Katie Merkel

Katlyn (Katie) Merkel is a member of the Corporate Responsibility team at Pfizer Inc. where she is responsible for daily operations of Pfizer’s skills-based volunteering programs, including Global Health Fellows and Teams. She also supports operations for corporate product donations and related programs.
Prior to this role, Katie provided program and project management support to the International Public Affairs team at Pfizer in the Asia, Africa & Middle East, and Latin America/Canada regions. Before joining Pfizer in 2016, Katie managed the Pediatric oncology fellowship and residency programs at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Katie obtained her undergraduate degree in Marketing with minors in International Business and French from the Pennsylvania State University and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Healthcare Administration concentration) from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. She is an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association where she co-leads the finance committee for the NY/NJ region and volunteers locally in NYC in various capacities.
