Jane He

Northeast Regional Director, MedShare

Jane He serves as the Northeast Regional Director for MedShare, a global humanitarian aid organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to underserved communities worldwide. Jane is based in MedShare’s Volunteer and Collection Center in Secaucus, NJ and is responsible for leadership of the Northeast region. Throughout her 25-year career in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, Jane has held various roles at international and local organizations in the areas of the arts, health, faith, volunteerism, homelessness and hunger.

Prior to joining MedShare in 2021, Jane spent the past 15 years leading fund development for local nonprofits, where she developed and expanded fundraising programs to increase capacity and meet changing needs in the community, as well as led efforts to secure and sustain emergency funding through disasters such as Hurricane Sandy and the COVID-19 pandemic. She also worked for Orbis International and was part of the team that launched their DC-10 “flying eye hospital” on its historic inaugural mission to Beijing, China. Jane holds a BA in Art from Fordham University with additional studies at New York University, and is a graduate of the BergenLEADS community leadership program.
