Darnelle Bernier is Vice President, Medical Donations Program for the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), a leading faith-based NGO focused exclusively on global healthcare for the world’s poor. Darnelle joined CMMB in 2011 and is now responsible for strategy and partnership development for CMMB’s primarily pharmaceutical gifts-in-kind donation program, which reaches over 3,000 health facilities in over 35 countries each year.

Previously, she served as Senior Manager in the Global Health Department of the American Cancer Society, overseeing the launch in Europe of the Global Relay for Life (GRFL) program, a community engagement and volunteerism program, as well as GRFL licensing and program development with NGO partners in twenty-one countries worldwide.

Darnelle is a graduate of Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies. She’s also completed the Thunderbird Global School of Management Social Sector Leadership Program and The George Washington University School of Business Global Social Enterprise Initiative – New Strategies Leadership Program.
