Global Director, Strategic Partnerships
Currently acting as Global Director of Strategic Partnerships at Children International, Christina Becherer has a strong track record of building impact-driven partnerships with corporations, foundations, individuals, and international organizations to grow resources in support of development and humanitarian programs. Before joining Children International in 2022, Christina led corporate sector engagement in 24 countries as Director of Global Corporate Partnerships at ChildFund International for more than 8 years. She also managed a $25-million capital campaign for a leading-edge research institution, Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences, and served as the Director of Development at Sustainable Harvest International. The program work she’s championed has been featured in a National Geographic documentary and received global recognition, such as the P&G Social Sustainability Partnership Award and 2020 Clinton Global Citizen Award for emergency resource-mobilization in Liberia and Sierra Leone, in response to the Ebola outbreak. Christina currently serves as Vice-Chair of PQMD’s Disaster Response and Humanitarian Relief Committee. Christina holds a certification in Social Impact Partnership Design from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Webster University. She also attended the AFP-Nonprofit Management Institute at Stanford University.
