Cassandra Slader is a dedicated leader in the pharmaceutical industry, driven by a clear purpose to enable more patients access to innovative treatments, regardless of their country of origin. With a wealth of experience in generating innovative solutions to overcome internal and healthcare system barriers, Cassandra has successfully implemented these solutions through the engagement of cross-functional stakeholders.
Her passion for enabling early access to medicines for patients with unmet medical needs led her to join the pharmaceutical industry, where she has contributed significantly to the development of treatments with a substantial impact on patients. As the Head of Managed Access Programs at UCB, Cassandra leads a dedicated team providing internal expertise and advice to develop and execute the UCB Access+ Strategy, ensuring flawless operational execution of Managed Access Programs across the UCB portfolio.
Prior to joining UCB, Cassandra worked at Novartis in diverse Medical roles in country, regional and global teams. Throughout her career, Cassandra has demonstrated a commitment to patient access, working extensively with regional and country leadership to align regional access strategies and ensure that country teams meet internal and local regulatory requirements for program implementation. Her leadership has resulted in the successful implementation of managed access programs in various regions, including the Greater Bay Area in China, and the resolution of complex post-trial access issues in countries such as Egypt, Italy, Libya, and South Korea.
