Blair Fields, Head of Charitable Patient Assistance Programs, is currently responsible for the company’s Global Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs). Blair joined Amgen in 2003 and is based out of Amgen’s headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Blair is the Vice President of Amgen’s US free goods program, Amgen Safety Net Foundation (ASNF). ASNF is a non-profit entity that provides free Amgen medicines to qualifying patients when financial need is a barrier to access. Under Blair’s leadership the Foundation provides 22 Amgen medicines, valued at ~$1.5 billion in free medicine annually. Blair also oversees Amgen’s Global charitable donations program. Through strategic industry partnerships, this program has provided ~$200 million in Amgen medicines to 29 countries since 2018.

Blair has almost 20 years of Biotech experience working across several key therapeutic areas including oncology, nephrology, cardiology, neurology, bone health, and inflammation. Her expertise includes marketing operations, product reimbursement, healthcare compliance, and patient support programs., Blair brings a background in corporate consulting, process improvement and operational excellence.

Blair earned a degree in Finance and Economics. Prior to joining Amgen, Blair provided management consulting to both Anderson Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
