Merck
Amy Testa is the Grant Manager for Merck’s Corporate Responsibility team. In this role Amy oversees the Merck Medical Outreach Program, the primary mechanism through which Merck donates pharmaceuticals and vaccines for humanitarian purposes in developing countries and for disaster relief efforts worldwide. At Merck Amy also manages the animal health and animal advocacy grant portfolios, assists with data analysis and budgeting, and oversees general grant correspondence.
Prior to joining Merck in 2017, Amy held various roles at several non-profit organizations. Most recently, she served as Finance Associate at the Fannie E. Rippel Foundation, a collaborative group that uses innovative approaches to promote health and create healthy communities within the US. Earlier in her career, Amy worked at an environmental non-profit dedicated to conserving and protecting the NY and NJ estuaries, and an international membership-based NGO focused on sustainable trade and agricultural development. She also spent time employed at an animal welfare non-profit and assisting part-time at an animal shelter in Washington, DC.
Amy holds a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Management from Cornell University and a Nonprofit Leadership Certificate from Rutgers University Business School.
