Sorcha currently holds the position of Social Investing Manager EMEA, with responsibility for BD’s Global Product Donation program and has worked for BD since 2011.

In her scope of work, she manages all product donations out of Europe and has put in place a robust internal product donation process which she modelled off those of the BD Headquarters in the USA and adapted to her region.  For 7 years she has been responsible for driving all social investing initiatives and cash donations locally. Sorcha is also involved in the building and implementing of BD signature Volunteer Service Trip program and also looks to build new relationships with partners in her region to expand BD’s corporate responsibilities in her region.

Sorcha who is Irish by origin has studied Business Administration with German (Ireland), Corporate Governance (Ireland) and complimented her studies by graduating from the University of Caen in Logistics and Transport with German & French. Prior to joining BD, Sorcha held the position of Compliance Officer for a private bank in Dublin, Ireland before moving abroad with her husband and 3 children.  Before moving to Switzerland, she was an Assistant Project Manager, driving process efficiencies for a large electrical company in Normandy, France.

Sorcha’s passions in life outside of her family are mountain hiking and biking.
