Before starting her own company in 2010, Erica Ferry was President of the Schering-Plough Foundation and Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Schering-Plough Corporation, a global pharmaceutical company. Her responsibilities included building and enhancing key stakeholder relationships and leading the company’s multi-million dollar philanthropy programs and other social responsibility initiatives. She joined Schering-Plough in 2004 as Senior Director of Public Affairs and was responsible for managing relationships with key external constituencies to promote and facilitate the company’s operations in New Jersey and at other major sites across the country.

Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Erica served as Director of Community Relations and Contributions Programs for Pharmacia Corporation and Executive Director of the Pharmacia Foundation. At Pharmacia, she led strategic initiatives to build the company’s reputation as a highly regarded corporate citizen and directed the organization’s philanthropic programs. Before joining Pharmacia, Erica was Vice President of the New Jersey Alliance for Action. She began her professional career at the Alliance for Action as a Project Manager and served the organization in several different capacities.

Erica has received numerous awards in recognition of her positive impact on the business and nonprofit communities. She was named one of NJBIZ Magazine’s Best Fifty Women in Business, a program that honors 50 of New Jersey’s most accomplished women, acknowledged as one of NJBIZ’s “Power 50: The 50 Most Powerful Nonprofit Board Members,” and recognized as one of NJBIZ’s “40 Under 40–New Jersey’s Most Successful Young Businesspeople.” In recognition of her volunteer service, Erica received the American Heart Association’s “Woman of Distinction” award, was honored by the Somerset Hills Learning Institute, and given Community Health Charities of America’s Volunteer of the Year award. She is a member of Leadership New Jersey’s class of 2001.

She is proud to serve on the board of Students 2 Science, and as a member of the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD) Advisory Council.

Erica received a BA in Communication from Cook College (Rutgers University) and a Masters in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Seton Hall University and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from HBX | Harvard Business School.
