Gail Scotto is Project Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Ridgefield, CT. In this role, she is responsible for a variety of programs and projects of Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, a private nonprofit organization aimed at improving the health and lives of patients and families and strengthening communities. Gail manages the Foundation’s Product Donation, Produce-to-Give and Disaster Relief programs, all of which provide medicines to qualified nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), who in turn distribute the medicines to patients in the U.S. and around the world where there is unmet medical need.
In addition, she manages operations for the primary care products of the Foundation’s Patient Assistance Program, which provides select medicines free of charge to eligible uninsured and underinsured patients in the U.S. Gail also manages processes and systems for the Foundation’s Financial Contributions Program which strategically funds programs aligned with the Foundation’s goals of improving access to healthcare and enhanced STEM education for the underserved.
Prior to her position in Corporate Social Responsibility, Gail held other positions in the Boehringer Ingelheim Public Affairs and Communications department since joining the company in 2004. Gail graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Communication.
