Rylee Shear

Manager, Programs and Products

Rylee started at PQMD in 2025 and is excited to bring her experience in public health and program management to the team. At George Washington University, where she is currently completing her MPH degree, her studies have focused on the environmental health impacts of major disaster events and how we can build more sustainable health systems and humanitarian supply chains to mitigate the effects of catastrophes. Her prior professional experiences include acting as the senior paralegal at a veterans disability law firm, where she worked to ensure that veterans with disabilities get the compensation they’re entitled to, and providing research assistance to a CIBR team at Seattle Children’s Research Institute, where she investigated the utility of novel biomedical technologies in identifying the etiology of childhood epilepsy-associated conditions.

Rylee holds a BA in Political Science and Human Rights from the University of Washington and will complete her MPH at George Washington University this spring. She lives in Washington, DC with her three cats.
