His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, recently launched the Reaching the Last Mile Fund. The Fund is to raise $100 million with the goal to eliminate and control preventable diseases that affect the health and economic prospects of the world’s poorest people. The Fund will focus on supporting the elimination of two preventable neglected diseases: river blindness and lymphatic filariasis.
