Hollie Harper began working with Direct Relief in August 2024 and is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with healthcare companies to secure donations for global humanitarian and disaster relief efforts. Prior to working in global health, Hollie spent over 20 years working in academia and biotech to advance research in cancer, autoimmune/inflammatory disorders, and rare disease. A few career highlights include helping develop gene therapies for muscular dystrophy, training clinics participating in The Cancer Genome Atlas Project, and driving corporate development efforts at Discover Life Sciences. In her spare time, Hollie enjoys cooking for friends and family, traveling like a local, and fishing in Michigan with her dad.
Hollie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University and an MBA in Marketing from Capital University.
