Ismail Safi is the Assistant Director of International Programs with Islamic Relief USA. Mr. Safi has been working in the humanitarian and international development sectors for 14 years. He is currently managing a portfolio of $250 million in 36 countries focusing in WASH, Health, Education, Food Security, Livelihood, and climate change sectors. He has a master’s degree in international development from the American University, Washington D.C, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business Management and Administration. He has managed humanitarian assistance and international development programs throughout his career, including those with USAID and The World Bank.
