Chelsie Ferguson

Global Health Specialist
Chelsie Ferguson is the Global Health Specialist at Islamic Relief USA, where she oversees the organization’s Global Health portfolio, including Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) and international medical missions. In this role, she leads the strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of medical donations and clinical outreach programs in partnership with international NGOs, healthcare institutions, and Ministries of Health.
Chelsie began her career in healthcare in 2015 at the Mayo Clinic, where she worked within the Medical Education Department’s international health and wellness program. She later served as a healthcare administrator at Orlando Health, supporting hospital operations and care delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, and previously served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Across her career, she has developed expertise in regulatory affairs and healthcare supply chains across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe, and North America, as well as in global health operations within both domestic and international healthcare systems. She holds a degree in Health Administration and has Masters studies in International Affairs and Diplomacy at Seton Hall University, including UNITAR-supported coursework, with a focus on global health, humanitarian policy, and peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
