PQMD Members Earn High Rankings on CNBC’s List of Top Ten Charities in 2015
In a recent article, CNBC reported on the top 10 most efficient and successful charities working to bring change to the US and abroad. The list seeks to recognize charities that over the previous year have done “exceptional work … while maintaining stellar financial management and transparency.”
PQMD member organizations secured the top three spots on the list. The highest place was awarded to Direct Relief. MAP International and the Catholic Medical Mission Board earned second and third placed ratings, respectively. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF scored ninth on the list as well.
CNBC’s list was based on the website Charity Navigator’s rating system, which scores organizations based on overall financial health, accountability for actions, and transparency of reporting critical data or information.
We wish to extend our congratulations to the PQMD members acknowledged by this list, and offer thanks to all our member organizations and corporations for their continuing efforts made in championing high standards in medical supply and service donation.
