PQMD Member World Vision Provides Interactive Experience with Give-back Gift Shop in NYC’s Bryant Park
Shop provides experience of giving, just in time for Giving Tuesday
Next week, World Vision will be in Bryant Park with its Give-back Gift Shop, an interactive experience for children and adults. The shop provides an opportunity for visitors to see and experience the impact of giving firsthand. Shop visitors can:
o Take a picture with a live goat and learn more about donating animals for families in need.
o Use a VR headset to learn about the life of a girl in Kenya and find out more about sponsoring a child.
o Try out the working water pump and pick up a water container to experience what it is like for a child who walks hours a day to collect water.
o Build a care kit to help in the U.S. or abroad for someone in need of love and care.
o Play in the 180° photo booth and share the animated photo with friends.
o Discover gifts that give back. Shop the World Vision Gift Catalog for gifts to donate, or opt for a handcrafted gift created by artisans around the world in exchange for a donation.
o Check out celebrity appearances! Patricia Heaton, who designed the Hope Bracelet for World Vision, Sugarland, and others will be on hand during the World Vision Give Back Gift Shop.
The World Vision Give Back Gift Shop will be held November 25-27, 2018 in Bryant Park in New York City. Shop hours are 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Giving Tuesday is November 27th. All proceeds from the Give-back Gift Shop benefit people World Vision serves around the world, including New York. To learn more, visit https://www.worldvision.org/giftshop.
