John Hopkins Center for Communication Programs Launches COVID-19 Communication Network (CCN)
The John Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) has launched a new website with COVID-19 evidence-based tools and materials for practitioners working on social and behavioral change communications. The website includes materials such as reports, training curricula, and media documents from John Hopkins, the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with other partners working in countries to help control the spread of COVID-19.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, there has been a large amount of materials created and disseminated. Experts at John Hopkins have gone through all the materials and vetted the most important tools public health professionals need to do their important work. The resources can be used to provide engaging and clear communication about COVID-19 care, reduce stigma against those infected, clarify misconceptions and support promising practices.
The resources are available in different languages and professionals are given the opportunity to submit their own materials for review. The content will be updated daily and out-of-date resources will be taken down.
