PQMD Standards Comment Period - March 2010 PQMD was created ten years ago to advance quality medical donations worldwide through setting and promoting quality standards, disseminating knowledge and influencing policy. This year we are reviewing PQMD’s Seven Key Components in the Comprehensive Management of Medical Product Donations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with WHO guidelines. PQMD is also proposing an eighth component to address the NGO valuation of donated products, click here to view. The Components, which have been renamed Principles and Standards, are now available for public comment. The purpose of the comment period is to provide an opportunity for stakeholders and the general public to provide input that PQMD will then use to develop revisions as needed. The comment period will end March 31st at midnight Eastern Standard Time. The feedback will also be used to determine if another comment period is required before a final draft can be published for review.
