Kicking off with an intriguing performance piece on empathy in global health, our Executive Forum brings together top-level executives from NGO and corporate leaders from all over the world. Together, we will explore global health topics and strategize collaboratively.  This year, we will also be celebrating PQMD’s 20th Anniversary with many of our founding members in attendance!

Stage 4 Feature Production: Empathy and Kindness and Access to Quality Healthcare
In an original and explosive performance piece, Christopher Bailey of the World Health Organization takes you on a journey through space and time, from HIV clinics in Kenya, to a Liberian slum during the 2014 Ebola epidemic, to oncology wards in Switzerland, and to ancient Greek theatres to bring to life real stories of this primal human ability and the emerging science behind it.
Keynote Panel
This executive level forum will explore what “tipping points” have led to significant changes and commitments to support universal health coverage, and understanding the global impact of climate change and the necessity to accelerate multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder action to provide access to quality healthcare worldwide.
Founder’s Panel
This panel will feature founding members and discuss how after 20 years, PQMD, as a coalition, is continuing to improve access to medicines, strengthen health systems and contribute to  better health and well being. Additionally they will explore the paradigm shifts in disaster response and humanitarian needs.

Climate Change: Disaster Resilience in a New ERA
This panel aims to discuss the NGO and private sector footprint on disaster resilience and sustainability through the lens of challenges related to food security, supply chain and logistics, responsible product procurement and donations.
Advancing Inclusive Development: Role and Influence of FBOs in Global Health
This session will explore lessons from leaders on working with the faith-based sector and their contributions to access to medicines and sustainable healthcare.
Building Momentum: Measuring for Success
This session will explore how building capabilities, strengthening infrastructure and deepening mutual understanding of needs to enable good data use across multiple stakeholders is possible.
Beyond Essential Medicines
This plenary discussion will explore what sustainable strategies are needed to improve healthcare supply efficiencies and what lessons from essential medicine donations can be applied to more targeted therapeutic areas like oncology and rare diseases.
Health System Strengthening: Innovations, Strategies, Trends and Emerging Global Priorities
This panel will explore the interconnectedness of innovation, strategies and future trends to achieve increased access to care and the transformative solutions needed for resilient and sustainable health systems.
